About Me
Hello and welcome to my online portfolio.
My Name is Christopher Johnston
I’m a self taught artist who was born and raised in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. I’ve grown up in Thunder Bay, Ontario my whole life. Here I grew up as a French Immersion student, who dabbled with Spanish in Highschool as well. I think learning different languages while growing up has given me a multi perspective view of the world around me. I look at things and problems differently. Growing up I wouldn’t say I was very interested in painting or photography. Photography was something I learned and enjoyed for my college program.
Today, Photography and Painting are hobbies of mine. My painting medium of choice is Oil Paints. I’ve only been painting since 2018, family and friends continue to compliment my works, so I continue to make more paintings.
